hi mates again
after a few days of play whit laptop the fazit:
its possible to play, but a race over 20 min isnt more possible...
last sunday race the practice its okey, the rounds whit 10 laps and about 5-7 min for racetime. the laptop can cooling a few sek/min during loadscreen and chattime. and so i can play about 1 hour whitout lags and crashes.
the race finally after 10 min i got only lags and then freeze screen, thats not good.
next sunday races i can't start, but i would like play a few the practice for see the tracks and play whit the drivers
i can show the race from spec modus if its possible and the laptop dont crash...?
cu all
I have that problem now the ambient temperature is climbing, means I can't play non-stop on my night shift.
I have a Cooler Master twin fan deck, but even that only enables cold-weather smooth running of TM.
Being in Spec won't help in the long run I'm afraid, Spock
What we need is a fan that sucks from the outlet port imo, but I've never seen one.

they do exist. however whether they would make enough difference or even attach properly to your notebook is debatable. it depends a lot on the shape and position of the exhaust fan vent on your notebook.
e.g. amazon.co.uk/Big-Bargain-Extracting-Cooling-Notebook/dp/B00AAYKO2A/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t
another factor is the potential over rotation effect the increased airflow through the notebook's own cooler assembly would have on the fan motor and bearings.
going back to the traditional under notebook cooler it again depends a lot on the design of the notebook and the air volume the fan blades can shift. ABS Plastic is a nice heat insulator when there is an air gap behind it. think cool wall toasters. so unless there is are vents under your notebook it really won't have much benefit.
I used for a while an aluminium covered antec notebook cooler with 2 fans blowing at the base of an Asus Intel notebook I used to have.
While doing so it actually caused heat levels to rise in the AMD Radeon GPU. The CPU and GPU were connected by a single heatpipe cooled by one fan over the CPU. So because the sensor on the CPU was cool the fan was not working sufficiently to cool the GPU. I still use the cooler but just as a stand.

That is barely a gizmo in the link when what we really need is a Henry hoover with rubber lips
Come to think, there's more than one market for that....
But thanks much for supplying the phrase 'over rotation', I'm going to use that a lot in future
